History Compass: A Guide to Historical Thinking, Research, and Writing
Grades 6 to 12History Compass is an exploration of critical thinking and expression. In this course, students will look at how historians approach research and draw conclusions, learn to examine and evaluate evidence, search for diverse perspectives, use different kinds of sources, and create meaningful essays and projects. Used on its own or as a foundation for the History Odyssey series, Compass will help your student become a historian, contributing to the story of our past and present.
History Odyssey Ancients
Grades 5 to 8In History Odyssey Ancients, students will explore the key events, achievements, and cultures that shaped the world between approximately 6,000 BCE to 500 CE—from the rise of earliest civilizations to the fall of Rome.
